As mentioned in this post, Matt will host a livestream on February 22 during Bangkok daylight hours. He opened an invitation to any speaker who was affected by the cancellation, and the livestream will include the following fine people: Imran Sayed, Md Saif Hassan, Muhammad Muhsin, Nirav Mehta, Piccia Neri, Umar Draz, and Francesca Marano
Tommy Fleming goes from strength to strength
Tommy Fleming is probably Ireland’s most unique and versatile entertainer, whose music is impossible to classify, but whose popularity is defined by the “SOLD OUT” signs that go up almost as soon as tickets to his concerts go on sale!
With sellout concerts in Ireland, Japan, Australia, United States, and more, the term “universal appeal” is appropriate. He has sold over 3 million CDs and DVDs worldwide, and All Write Media is delighted to be the manufacturer of many of his albums and DVDs, including his latest album, “Stories”, a double-CD set packaged with an impressive and beautifully designed hardbook book.

Interference launches new album
Interference is the cult Irish band based around singer-songwriter Fergus O’Farrell. Their sound has influenced a generation of Irish musicians (including Frames/Swell Season front man Glen Hansard), and are featured in the hit movies Sing Street and Once and of course the musical of the same name. Fergus O’Farrell passed away in February of 2016 but the remaining band members are determined to carry his flame forwards.
They launched their new album, SWEET SPOT, with gigs in Dublin’s Vicar Street and The Opera House in Cork, in February 2017.
All Write Media handled the CD replication of the album, which was packaged in a beautifully designed 6-panel digipak with a 12-page booklet.
Cathal Hayden launches HOOKED ON BANJO
Cathal Hayden is a musician who has been involved in many traditional music albums, as a solo artist and as a member of “Four Men and a Dog”, as well as making significant contributions to many other artists’ albums. He has helped bring Irish Traditional Music to a worldwide stage, making it more popular than ever before; he has earned admiration from all, and created an excitement and vitality never seen before in our rich and ancient musical heritage.
Cathal has launched his latest album, HOOKED ON BANJO, where he is joined by many friends like Arty McGlynn, Máirtín O’Connor, Seamie O’Dowd and more.
All Write Media are delighted to have provided the manufacturing and printing of his CD, which is packaged in a beautiful 6-panel digipack.
Francy Devine on the Rolling Wave
Over the years, Ellen Cranitch of LYRIC FM has chatted to some extraordinary people but few have been as fascinating as Francy Devine, musician, poet, activist and teacher.
Francy recently spoke to Ellen on “The Rolling Wave” about all aspects of his life in an entertaining and engaging interview.
Born in London to Scottish parents, Francy was encouraged to sing by his mother, and learned much of his repertoire from his father. Perhaps that’s why his latest CD is called, “My Father Told Me”. Francy also took his ethnicity and politics from his father, as did Ewan McColl when he wrote “My Old Man”; and Francy pays tribute to both his father and McColl in his poignant rendition of the song on this album.
All Write Media are delighted to have manufactured the CD for Francy, beautifully packaged in a digipak with a 28-page booklet, which is crammed full of stories about the eighteen gorgeous songs.

This unique line-up of whistle (Cormac Breatnach), cello (Annette Cleary), harpsichord ( Rachel Factor) and baroque guitar (Eamon Sweeney) produces a beautiful, resonant sound that envelopes and transports the listener.
Sonamus combine a blend of Traditional and Early music complemented by new arrangements and original compositions and All Write Media are delighted to provide CD manufacturing services for their album, “MUSIC OF IRELAND – IRISH AND BAROQUE MUSIC MEET”, 12 gorgeous tracks performed impeccably.

Pat Coldrick’s CITYJAM CD
Another recent CD manufactured by All Write Media is the superb CITYJAM for Pat Coldrick, the quiet and unnasuming guitarist and composer. We are reluctant to describe him as a rock, classical or jazz musician, as his music defies genre.
CITYJAM has 14 tracks, each one superb in it’s own right. On this CD, we find Pat displaying a wide variety of styles and sounds, and the album includes a number of Pat’s own excellent compositions.
The CITYJAM CD is the long awaited follow-up to Pat’s 2010 album, CAYENDO, which is still in demand and we recently manufactured another run of this CD which reviewers described as “tremenduous”, “emotional”, “beautiful”, “perfection” – testament to Pat’s superior technical skills.
The CD packaging was designed by Pilot Media Design, who bring creative and technical excellence together – which guarantees a stunning design, and for manufacturers, makes life easier for everyone!
The CD is packaged in a 4-panel digipak with matt varnish, and a subtle, high gloss, spot varnish which adds a touch of class. There’s also a comprehensive booklet, with beautiful photography.
Cork Gamelan Ensemble, The Three Forges
All Write Media are delighted to be associated with this unique and powerful album. We handled the CD manufacturing, digipak printing and packaging for Diatribe Records.
Reviewing this album in the Irish Times, Siobhán Long described this CD as an “unmissable collection”. She enthused that there is “so much wide-eyed wonder at play” on a CD that “gets richer with every listen.”
Professor of Music at UCC, Mel Mercier has assembled a diverse array of artists such as Iarla O Lionáird, Julie Feeney, Kate Ellis, Nick Roth, and Colin Dunne to perform with the Cork Gamelan Ensemble.
New Year! New possibilities?
Jools Holland has gently assisted the old year out, and brashly introduced 2015…but does his “Hoot’nanny” suggest that all is changing?
Just like the music business, Jools presents some amazing new acts, but with a generous smattering of some of the old favourites proving that there is much in the past to look forward to.
Vinyl is grabbing the headlines with it’s resurgence while the all-singing, all-dancing Blue Ray format is wondering, when is the party going to start!
In All Write Media, we are committed to supporting new music, new ideas, new formats; but we’ve built our business and customer loyalty on quality – quality products and quality service.
And that’s an old favourite of ours that will not change!
